How to Download Video

HOW TO DOWNLOAD VIDEO

There have been major updates to the way you have to download FTP files in the major browsers. The information below is not relevant as of this current date Nov. 23rd 2023. Will we provide a new tutorial as soon as possible to help you learn how to download our full size videos.

In recent days most of the major internet browser platforms have decided to disable FTP (File Transfer Protocol) download support, which is what KP Videography uses as a way to allow downloading of our video. There is still good news though and that is, you can still enable FTP download within your browser.
Below we've listed how to go about re-enabling FTP downloads in a few of the major browsers.

* How to Re-Enable FTP Protocol Support in Firefox

Launch Mozilla Firefox, enter about:config in the address bar and then click on Accept the risk to continue button.
Search for a setting network.ftp.enabled and double-click on it to change its value to true.
Now you have enabled FTP support in Firefox once again.

* How to Re-Enable FTP Protocol Support in Google Chrome

Open Chrome and type “chrome://flags” in the address bar.
Once in the flags area, type “enable-ftp” in the search bar stating “search flags”.
When you see the “Enable support for FTP URLs” option tap where it says “Default”.
Tap “Enable” option.
Hit “Relaunch Now” option at the bottom of the page.

* As of this writing, it looks like Microsoft Edge supports FTP downloads and has not disabled it yet.

* If these methods won't work for you, the videos can be downloaded whith a stand alone FTP program. We like to use WinSCP which is free to download and install on your computer.
Here is a LINK to the WinSCP website to download. Once you download and install your favorite FTP program, you will need our server information and credentials to access the downloads.
Please contact us at kphoto@mymetronet.net for server information.

* We would like to add that these video downloads may take hours as they are very large files.
